Other half bought a dressing gown for a mere fiver, fleecy material and it's huge too! :)
Also got some absolutely massive bath towels for six pounds each, Bit pricey but they are great, seen as my other half is six foot one, we needed some towels that would cover him and they do the job great! However as I'm only five foot five, they go to half way down my calf from my chest, really huge towels haha.
I've also found some tights with fleece lining inside, don't know exactly how much they were, about £3 I reckon, bought them at the end of 2010 and they're still going strong to this day!

I can vouch for the tights with the microfibre type fleecy lining too, and you're right i think they are £3. Bought a pair based on recommendation on here and really thick and warm - which has reminded me, must look them out for work tomrorrow :D

  • the sneaky thing i have found is when an items is reduced in primark its coz it doesn't fit properly. i bought 6 of the same style of bra in 2 different colours and there smaller than usual which can be slightly uncomfortable but i did need need them coz elastic goes when your fairly big. also long sleeved tops had the same problem. most of there stuff is brilliant but i have noticed a gradual decrease in quality and increase in price. some of the designs they come out with are horrible.

Pack of two sets of pyjamas for babies reduced to two pounds, I got a pink cat design in 6-9 months, lovely soft fabric. Also had some boys dinosaur design, or fleecy ones at 3 pounds for a two pack. Lots of bright summery t-shirts down to 50p each, ranging from 9-12 months up to about 7-8 years (loads showing up on eBay). Also got two fleece throws for 3 pounds each, one baby pink with white polka dot, one red 'ribbed' style, really good size, going to use them as backing for patchwork quilts :)
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important

  • I got the baby pyjamas too (although mine are 6-12 months). They had red dinosaur or blue robot designs for boys. Thought £2 for two pairs was pretty good!
    Slummy mummy!
  • ladies wellies £4 blue with white stars on in liverpool store
  • £1 for ladies thick knitted roll neck jumpers, think they're meant to be a cropped style with 3/4 sleeves, but because I'm petite they come up normal. They came in quite a few sizes and 2 colours- camel and chilli (burnt orange)

we went looking for older girls denim shorts (for over leggings etc) yesterday, New Look, Tammy Girl etc were all at least £12 a pair, but Primark had them at £4 (others with a belt were £7) and they fit and look great :). Ages 7 up to 15 (I think, DD is 10).

Oh and younger girls (ages 2-6) ski jackets were half price, £5 down from £10. 2 colourways (dark pink and white, and pale pink and grey). There were loads of them yesterday at the Notts store.
