Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

Another point for the people having DTD voucher turned down for being over the limit.
Are you mixing email addresses?
This is hard to explain, but if you claim a voucher on 1 email ady, use it for a shop, I think you have to claim the next voucher on the same email ady.
Therefore if you have 2 x vouchers for £20, you spend both, you could get confused and try and claim your next shop on a different email ady ...maybe?0 -

Couldn't chop it up into 'you' size chunks. Or slices for frying?DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

I had a bit of a numpy checkout guy today, said "oh no, I can't accept this for this shopping..."
Me: "Why?"
"Because you have to buy the same thing as on the receipt that's stapled to the voucher."
Me: "Errr no, that makes no sense. Then I could just buy the same thing, get another voucher, buy it again, get another voucher etc etc. I don't want to buy the same thing (Which was a leg of lamb), I just want this voucher money off my normal shopping.
Just so happened that my normal shopping was Flash wipes, Dove, Kids Toothbrush...
Suppose I could really have just asked him to hold on a minute, and I'm sure if i had a rummage in my bag I could most likely have found a voucher and receipt for the same though!!!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Were there shops which you were entitled to over £20, say £25, but it was capped at £20?
Because people have found that Tesco are calculating the £100
per month on what DTD you were entitled to ...NOT what they actually paid you.
The 1st transaction would have been £10.98 cheaper at Asda, 2nd £13.77 and 3rd £13.91!!! So yes, if the 4th was over £11.34 cheaper and they are using the 'what you're entitled to' and not what you got as a voucher that would be me over the limit!!! :mad:0 -

I've just done three shops a week apart - the only difference with this shop was I did it on Saturday rather than Sunday as in the previous two weeks.¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?

I really can't understand why people still insist on trying to get the clubcard points. Even temporary ones when added to your main account will list all what you have bought - and you could (or will) be singled out.
Is it really worth it? We are on to a good deal
Wasnt trying to collect points, was merely using temp clubcard in case Trout demanded i use one.
Have been very lucky and all SAs have been lovely so not needed my temp card. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
