    Attention to the Welsh

Apologies for posting this again, I just think it might be useful for Welsh peeps to know and it may have gotten lost in the beef chat:

I was a bit miffed that Welsh lamb isn't matched properly as looking on the Asda website, the Welsh lamb is being matched against a fresh leg of lamb while British and New Zealand lamb is being matched against vacuum packed. Not really fair to us Welshies.
So I phoned customer services and the lovely woman I spoke to is sending me a £5 Tesco gift card for the inconvenience as there does seem to be an error there in how it is being matched. It's not as much as I would have gotten from the DTD but all the same, what a nice result =O)
It's possibly worth other people doing this if they have been caught out on the Welsh lamb as then maybe it will be matched correctly in future. She did say that it would be fed back for people to look into.

I had Welsh Lamb too, was disappointed as instead of a £20 voucher I got a £2.24 voucher. Never mind....looks like more Betty Crocker for me to regain my voucher!

Unconfirmed possible deal..... Tesco Bramley apples 880g T £1.37 A £1.37 2 for £2......DTD £1.48 NET £1.26 HOWEVER Tesco Real Food magazine has 40p off voucher, use two to get the apples for 46p for 2 bags

Were there shops which you were entitled to over £20, say £25, but it was capped at £20?

Because people have found that Tesco are calculating the £100
per month on what DTD you were entitled to ...NOT what they actually paid you.

Oh dear, I'm gonna have to be more careful it seems then darn - thanks for that, my calculating is poor lol

    It's rather mean isn't it

However, my good friends Mr Yahoo and Mr Excel are very useful in managing this situation

    3 x TESCO FRESH BEEFT/S T/R S/S JNTSSML STORES (2.528 kg) £ 21.44 £ 21.44 N/A: A comparable match cannot be found on the day of purchase

Mystery solved - for whatever reason my joint couldn't be price matched. Was this the bit of the receipt you needed?

    Thanks Dinah.

From what I've seen the price check receipts all say differently to what yours is saying. The correct one will say 1 x T.BEEF TOP SIDE TOP RUMP SILVER SIDE JOINT MED

Anyway, I have been to Tesco this evening and I got the correct beef with the correct barcode.

Will let you all know tomorrow when I get my voucher if it's still working.

I really can't understand why people still insist on trying to get the clubcard points. Even temporary ones when added to your main account will list all what you have bought - and you could (or will) be singled out.

Is it really worth it? We are on to a good deal nod.gif

I totally agree with you. Also all the talk about IP.... when the time come then we will all know that the dtd are not as good as it used to be, at the moment lets enjoy it & not think about it - dtd shopping list is already stress me out, I don't need to think of IP:D

    Please add to SS

    **POSSIBLE DTD**

    Flora Cuisine 500ml bottle T £1.99 A £1.00
    DTD £1.98:j

I tried this last week as needed it anyway as me sample bottle had run out, but it came back as N/A. Wasn't on the Tesco website at the time though whereas it is now, so hopefully it will work now.

I wouldnt just yet as like somebody posted the lamb whole legs all have different barcodes on it.
maybe people who have had DTD on it could post the barcodes here and then see if there is a link 1st?
The barcode off the meat joint not just the reciept

Still catching up so maybe already covered. The lamb is straight forward though, they are giving DTD on all legs of lamb other than the carvery one.

The beef one they are only giving DTD back on one....and the first 5 digits of the barcode is what's important. IMO
