Hope I'm not missing out on all those Clucard points for nothing, but you have to imagine this is their easiest method of tracking people. Email addresses are ten-a-penny. Think I'll stick with cash as this offer is waay too good to risk screwing up. What are the rest of you doing re payment method?
  • I know, but that tends to cause cash flow problems - money is needed to recycle between halifax accounts to get the £5 per month for paying in £1000. ;)

Have enough email addresses to work several times over but just not the ready cash.

You'll get much more than £5 back from Tesco in a month so use the cash for DTD!

I've just checked Tesco & Asda websites regarding beef. Tesco charges £8.48 per Kg as does Asda for joints up to 2Kg. Asda charges £4 per Kg for joints over 2.1Kg. So if you want beef, as I do , you need to make sure it weighs more than 2.1 Kg.

I know you are trying to help and it is much appreciated but unless you are 100% sure I would refrain from making posts like this. It will only add to the confusion. I mean that in the nicest way possible so please don't take offence. The beef is quite a big DTD and it's already causing a lot of confusion lol :)

same as you honey dont want to risk anything :o
  • Arm and Hammer now scanning in at £3.00 (or did for me today anyway) instead of £2.48, so should be even more DTD.

Nearly went to custoimer services to say the SEL says £2.48 but I've been charged £3.00, but didn't want to invalidate the Wolf Blass I had if she wrote on my receipt.

i was thinking more along the lines that she would be using a tesco credit card thats also linked to her cc , just a thought:o

I was thinking about the tracking via the Clubcard element of the CC rather than the credit card details. Using a Tesco CC means I can't shop without registering the Clubcard.

Out of interest, I wonder what happens if I scan my mum's clubcard before I use my Tesco Credit card - does it register on her clubcard or mine?

She doesn't shop at Tesco that much but I'd be more than happy to allow her to have the points in return for me using her clubcard to DTD!

I also wonder if they trace via the vouchers. ie: if I used my £20 voucher without a Clubcard and then DTD again, would the transactions be linked?

Are people adding their clubcard points retrospectively?

I think we might just get another card as we need to get one that is good for using abroad for the summer holiday!

I know but the accounts are quite complicated and OH has it all setup automatically using DDs - would be quite a nightmare to unravel!

It's still £2.48. Think you bought the wrong one - it's the Advanced Whitening you need to get.
