compared for me in wales but came back cheaper in tesco
also the beef came back as welsh beef so lost out there also.
My beef came back as Scotch, so I did not get DTD either, but did get a nice roast : )
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

    THANK YOU!

A big thank you to everyone for sharing. And an even bigger special thanks to those doing the work behind the scenes on the spreadsheet.

I’ll post my confirmed results as soon as I get the email. Could someone please let me know what’s the best format for the updaters?

Anybody had any success with lamb in Wales? All the Tesco stores that I’ve visited recently only had Welsh whole leg of lamb, with a green label, at £8.98/kg, but Asda website doesn’t have it. No joy on the beef either - I need to eat some meat, am getting a bit sick of Magnums washed down with Coke Zero!

    Thanks.
I had the same problem with half legs: 1 x TESCO WELSH LAMBHALF LEGS (1.036 kg)T£ 7.25A.£ 9.30!! Not at all good for my DTD!!
I'd leave the Welsh ones alone, and if you do find other lamb you need to check the price per kg in the first instance. Otherwise it's a trip across the frontier !!:(
  • I know, but that tends to cause cash flow problems - money is needed to recycle between halifax accounts to get the £5 per month for paying in £1000. ;)

Have enough email addresses to work several times over but just not the ready cash.

Be careful with that account. I had a reason to call last week, they told me now only allowed 1 account and my other 2 would be downgraded.

At the moment the only tracking that seems to be going on is email. I frequently use card to pay.
i was thinking more along the lines that she would be using a tesco credit card thats also linked to her cc , just a thought:o

I think Tesco would be on shaky legal ground to start monitoring credit card usage for DTD purposes. The Clubcard is a different issue, but from a payment method POV, you give Tesco your card details to process payment. Nothing else. I think them using it for other purposes would possibly be breaching the Data Protection Act

"Personal data shall be obtained only for one or more specified and lawful purposes, and shall not be further processed in any manner incompatible with that purpose or those purposes."

Thanks - one's my husbands, one is mine and the other is joint.

I guess they could argue about downgrading the joint account but don't see why OH shouldn't pay me to keep house :-)

Well spotted. I noticed the 2.09 was wrong as well, so have changed both and removed the confirmed date pending a new confirmation. If you buy them a lot, would you mind confirming again next time round? Thanks

    Will do, buying today ;).

    Previously confirmed on 9th.

    It's only a game
