I tried today and if a Manager and his Supervisor don't know the rules, what chance have the till staff got? Although I've calmed down now, my phone will be red hot in the morning. :mad:I want an apology from the store for the way I was dealt with. Fancy asking me for money for my shopping?:eek:Have they no shame? ;)

I think we should start a new thread, to NAME AND SHAME THE STORES customers are having trouble using their vouchers in, and the people concerned. That should stop them, as Tesco is probably monitoring moneysavingexpert.

I got complacent today and tried a trout :D hmm, she turned to another SA and said 'its one of THEM' then said i couldn't use it as it was £20 and my shopping was £22, it had to be double the voucher amount! She called a supervisor and 10 minutes later ..she said it was fine.

Went to car, came back in and tried bored looking male young student, he scanned it and all was fine, i always feel really guilty doing 2 shops in one store but DH moaning about petrol spends so thought i would give it a go.Don't know how you lot manage 2 shops plus in one hit!

Tried the golden nuggets, cookie crisp cereals and the lamb, will confirm tomorrow if i get them.

    Spill then, what happened?

Oh I've been away for 2 whole days, anyone wanna do me a little catch up pretty please? :A
Well, Mr T has decided that all us loyal customers who have been here for the past two days just had to turn up and go to CS with our 5 vouchers a day and collect £100 each, saved him transporting the lamb from NZ and the wine from Italy, shame it only lasted the two days though.:rotfl::T:rotfl::T:rotfl:
Hope you had a good holiday. :A
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

Did I ask? ;):eek:There can't have been anybody in the store who didn't hear me. Firstly very nicely (like I always do) speaking to the checkout girl. Then a bit more grumpy to her Supervisor - (at this stage I was wheeled off to somewhere quiet so that nobody could hear me. Then I demanded the Manager - fat lot of good she was. Then Head Office - but Mr T was playing golf.

Tomorrow will be the day Cool2.gif

What store was this in Ste as i think you are near me.

The 8 I bought scanned at £1.49 against 25p at Asda and according to my trusty calculator

    Tesco Calculator

that means a nice voucher for £19.84 and 8 30p coupons too!!

Boats are meant to rock a little :) It's nice of you to think that way but you shouldn't have to take the hit, also, if you think about it, if you're bringing it their attention then hopefully the 'jobsworth' will be told about it and not do it to anyone else sop really it's your duty to report it to CS.:D

Thanks J20 - i think you are absolutely right, however I have a few more unused cashback vouchers yet to be spent. I'm keen that my face doesn't become known at my local Tesco in the same way that pubs often have a rogue's gallery in the back office of people who are not welcome in the esablishment.

I'll PM you. Don't want to give them ammo before I hit head office ;)

Just tried but you don't accept PM's. Are you Mr T in disguise?;):rotfl:
