Hi all fellow dtd'ers, just had 2 days off from dtding, needed it after 10 days of reading this, planning lists, shopping etc (normally hate shopping with a passion)....was feeling completely knackered.
So thought I let the dust settle, wait for all vouchers to come through and do a stock-check, and plan next weeks assault.
Just opened my first bottle of fiano...gawjus(dont smell of cats pee like someone mentioned earlier).
This week try and buy the basic's again, still dont need any shampoo , still got 3 large head n shoulders from the days of the health n beauty leaflets which had loads of free points n half price shampoo, from 2 to 3 years ago(any old timers remember that one..:D ).
Tonight dinner was the cod steaks with uncle ben mexican rice ( dont laff, single bloke , thought it might work...:o ).
Anyhoo's, have been thinking of the "must have a clubcard" to use voucher situ that some dtd,ers have had. So how about a temporay card with each voucher you have in cycle , ie 5 shops = 5x40 points =200 points on each card min , = £6.00 in rerwards. then either,
1, wait till this promo is over (just thought what if it never ends ) then wait to the dust has settled, reg it to your account (guessing up to 2 years for this
    or
2, Give it to a friend who is not dtding to reg it to thier account (£6.00 in rewards for them)
    or
3 , sell the temp card on ebay (prob get £2.50ish (every little helps)

    Just an idea ....;);)

many thanks to all for this great thread and the spreadsheet

Well, not happy that todays vouchers didn't come until after I decided to go out, but the kids just wouldn't wait any longer! Successful day though? My OH did 1 shop with the vouvher I already had, I did 2 shops. Unfortunatley 2 year old decided she needed to toilet and I felt it would be rude not to do another 2 shops whilst in there? Followed by an unexpected BBQ at my sisters! Amazing Blossom Hill wine to accompany, followed by Magnums for pudding!!! Thank you Mr T! And of course to all on here!
I am starting to wonder why I am still doing this?

I have had my first no shows.
    Both were on the 7th.
One for £29+, bottle of malt and milk. Paid using Tesco credit card and CC points added, I have only used my CC and Credit card for petrol in the past month.
Second shop was 11 miles away, vino, submitted at the same time for £22+ paid cash.
I did 2 shops in each Tesco, put all 4 reciepts in at the same time to a brand new (made up) e mail addy.
Got two next day and these two are still pending???
I dont mind taking a hit with something tried, like the beef, it was n/a, but I do object to these are they are confirmed DTDs.
    Any ideas?
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

Can anyone remember which date it was that Tesco decided to cap vouchers to £20? I'm doing a 'stock-check' and have found myself very confused!

(Reward will be in the form of my DTD tale of woe today.)
