Never seen so many happy volunteers:TClearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.
I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.0 -
Was lovely for dinner today, the two legs I bought were £20 and £19, just hope the dtd works.
Going to get one tomorrow. Only me and my daughter, so will cut it up, freeze it, and it will last ages and ages!!
Sounds pretty dreadful, but we haven't been able to afford meat for a long long time! So HUGE thanks to everyone on this forum.DFW Long Hauler 292 / Sealed Pot Challenge Member #1452

I can't go out! I'm not well! Got a grotty cold and chesty cough - I want to spend my vouchers *sob*
The upside is that I have lots of fish in sauce (easily digestible for invalids), pizzas for my son and Magnums to ease the pain!
Hope to be able to hit the shops again on Monday! Leave one of those Disney toothbrushes for me - I want to get one for my grandson to give him for Easter along with his Treasure Easter Eggs (he would have had 3, but I had to "test" one today to cheer myself up!- oops!)0 -

but they never went lower than that, did they? Prior to the price drop to £9.72 a kilo they were £12.97 a kilo at Asda. I never saw them go lower than £9.72...0 -
He he he! I wish i coudl be so ballsy! Normally i'm not particularly confident anyway, but usually stand my ground, but there is something about Tesco staff (and my daughter's head teacher!) that make me feel about 2cm tall! Perhaps i should take you shopping with me next time!!
You and other comments have given me a boost though, and as was suggested, i shall go in tomorrow with my head held high and use the £10 compensation from HQ which arrived today, making sure i go to her till and mention how i got it for complaining about rude staff members!
Wish me luck!
Hi Mushy Pea, you are doing nothing wrong so have nothing to be ashamed of. I used to work in hospital and had to deal with lot of consultants, senior people etc, who could be a pain in the backside, but my friends favourite quote was, "I don't care, we all s**t from the same h**e. I know, very vulgar, but think about that when people are trying to make you feel small!0 -
Sorry wasnt ignoring you, got caught up trying to set up a mp3 player I got from tesco's lol.
I use firefox, you go to Tools on the top menu, select options, remove individual cookies, select tesco pricecheck. If you arent using Firefox let me know what you are using and I will let you know what to do.
I know its paranoia but I have been over my limit and not had an email yet!0 -
My husband and I have really got involved in this!! We keep buying the tesco's finest wine ( we would have bought wine in the first place) and are now feedining our addiction for just 1.21 per night!! Loving this thread, just concerned about how we are going to spend all the vouchers!!
Does anyone know if you can spend vouchers issued when you have bought something instore when you do your shopping online?Slimming world newbie joined 09/01/13 :j Total loss so far 3 stone 8 lbs. Gone never to be seen again0 -
Vo5 Gloss Me Smoothly Shampoo 500Ml and Conditioner aswell
Anyone bought any of this its £2.00 in Asda but £3.50 in tesco should therefore be £3 DTD0 -
