no, not when your only getting 1 £2 item for it.. i could get loads of items instead and still end up with another voucher teh same value.
you said spend the £10 without worrying if cheaper but if you dont worry about the price you could end up losing your profit a if tesco is cheaper it will come off your voucher
I'm using them to cover non DTD items which I want *which are either same price or N/As) - at the moment it's the baby wipes we like. We've got a lot of the DTD stuff already so this allows us some variety0 -

Back up? They were £13? I don't get what you mean.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Yes, what I meant was without trawling through spreadsheets etc, get the basics you need that aren't on a normal DTD list, bread, milk, sausages etc. We thought it made sense to take advatage of the tootbrush price (and the dishwasher tablets) to get the things that we need and still get them for free. If the value of the voucher decreases slightly, so what? It's easy to get it back to £20 if that is the priority but we're actually trying to get things we need.0 -

That is terrible. Did you say anything to the SA's making snidey comments today?
I know everyone is different, but I would have approached them, told them how rude it was to talk about customers and how disgusted I was regarding their attitude. Then taken both their names and let them know they would be reported to their store manager, area manager, head office and Tesco CEO.
The thought of that should give the bullies a sleepless night.
He he he! I wish i coudl be so ballsy! Normally i'm not particularly confident anyway, but usually stand my ground, but there is something about Tesco staff (and my daughter's head teacher!) that make me feel about 2cm tall! Perhaps i should take you shopping with me next time!!
You and other comments have given me a boost though, and as was suggested, i shall go in tomorrow with my head held high and use the £10 compensation from HQ which arrived today, making sure i go to her till and mention how i got it for complaining about rude staff members!

Tomorrow I am going to do my normal weekly shop, not DTD and guess what I have nothing to put on my list:T! I'm usually in T's at 9.30 picking up the whoopsie's before my normal shop. So I have decided to have a lay in(the first one for ages) and then nip to T's when my vouchers are in. My OH is delighted because we always pay half each for the shopping and he's just asked how much do I need to give you for shopping(Usually about £60 each) and I said "Nothing, We don't need anything!!!" He's loving DTD as much as me and does participate, so now we can really feel the benefit. Only downside, it's just cost £75 to repair my pullout corner cupboard in the kitchen, Someone overloaded it with 18 bottles of comfort and broke the mechanism and all the ball bearings fell out, never mind small price to pay!Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
