Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

Can anyone please tell me what the deal is on multibuys - someone suggested you don't get DTD on them - is that correct? I was looking at Vodka which is $24.95 at Ts or buy 2 for £26 - If I only bought one could I claim DTD as Asda is cheaper? I know you could before but just wondering if this has changed

Had a funny experience doing my DTD shop today.
Went to an older gentleman's till and when I produced my voucher he said "oooh how did you get this?" So I just said" Tesco was dearer then Asda so Ive had this voucher for double the difference." He then said "I don't think this is going to last very long cos apparantly there are professionals making lists of what's cheaper in Asda and buying those things on purpous." I said "no way, thats crazy" then went on to pay for another shop with another DTD voucher!!!!! I was trying so hard not to laugh I couldnt even look at him lol!!!!:rotfl:

** Stella Artois in my Tesco has 20 cans instead of 18 in it. I wonder if they've sneakily put that one there instead of the 18 so that people can't claim DTD?

am i the only that doesnt think the deal on the kids 10 quid toothbrush is great thinking about it logically u pay 10 quid for a crap toothbrush that asda is selling for 2 quid u got 16 quid back meaning u have outlayed the ten in the first place for a 2 quid toothbrush so you are only making 4 quid profit surely u would be better making that 4 quid elsewhere and purchasing other items, ie things u will need or eat... u can get a lot more for your money

Hey...Only started doing DTD this week but so far have seen these in Cheetham Hill Extra yesterday and Gorton Extra the other day
