Seems incredibly petty and unnecessary and I hope is sorted amicably asap.

for the record I would just like to say thanks to gazwood for his input on the thread and thanks to Tara747 for hers - forget the turf war and lets enjoy the savings.

For the record isnt it a moderators job to close threads and point people in the direction of the new one.

I'm just wondering if this is helping Asdas out, because it lets them raise their prices to equal Tescos.

this wont be helping asda out at all, in fact, the opposite, whilst this promotion is running, none of us are spending a single penny in ASDA!!
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.

No problem sweetheart, you have my blessing to continue, you ought to be a chessplayer, smart moves ;)

No smart moves at all, I can assure you! I have had everything out in the open, you are the one who resorted to PMing - what that was meant to achieve, I don't know. If the intention was to get a new thread started with your name at the top, I offered you that option. So please leave the snide remarks out. ;) Then we can all enjoy the new thread.

That is absolutely ridiculous. I don't think you should have this thread closed at all Tara. I mean seriously, who cares who starts the thread? It's not as if it's some kind of glory you're attaining. And just because gazwood was the original thread starter previously, that doesn't immediately mean it's his right to start consequent threads. It's childish tbh. We're all here to help each other, the first post is just a means to know about the offer.

That's my point exactly. On the toiletries threads, a different person starts it each month (just whoever happens to be around), and always thanks the original poster of the first thread. I didn't think that it would be a problem.

Anyway, thanks to you all for your comments, looks like it has been sorted out and I hope we can get back to the fun of DTDing. :) Subject closed!

    THANK YOU

To everyone - admin, ops, spreadsheet peeps etc. etc. - you have ALL done magnificently. :A

Did my first spend with a voucher today - is it right that my hands were shaking and I was feeling bad. . . . .

On a plus point, the OH didnt mind going shopping if we were getting something for free :j

Will post receipt later after dtd confirmed.

Totally normal symptoms of DTD'ing, The more you do it the better the symptoms become until they entirely disappear, and then you just feel a rush of euphoria as you wheel your trolley to the car!LOL
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Have you tried ringing CS yourself? I would be ringing them and complaining that you were humiliated.
I have tesco cs phone number listed on my mobile so that if i run into any bother when trying to use a voucher I can ring them myself instore, and then they can tell the SA to accept it.
Please God, help me stop spending!
