Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

Tara you are perfectly right to kill off a thread with 10,000 posts and start a new one (just like the last one was number 2 so this is number 3)
What is gazwoods problem with that, I really cannot fathom.
It enables us all to keep up to date.
Some people................................................................I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR12000 -

Solero 3pk Berry Berry/Exotic
T = £2.23
A = 2 for £3
DTD = 1.46 x 2 = 2.92
So two packs for £1.54 - last sunday these werent on offer at a but maybe its changed? what had happened was they had some soleros in with older packaging when the offer was in place so on those ones only customers were getting it for the 2 or £3 but normally just 2.23 each so same price
as for herbal essences most if not all of them went back up to full price yesterday ... can u guess where i work
has anyone had vouchers from receipts entered monday night yet
I only checked on mysupermarket, they weren't showing as being on offer yesterday and are today so it's strange that it doesn't say it on the asda website! Maybe not a deal after all then2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book0 -

Pretty please could we all do the same thing on this one to avoid confusion?
If a price changes or a deals ends on a product that means it is no longer any good for getting DTD on, we have agreed to just cross off the item on the Spreadsheet and then put a note in the notes column stating the price has changed. We have agreed not to change the price of the item on there if the deal ends, so we can still see what the deal was before it ended.
If the price changes on an item that means it MAY continue to still receive DTD, then we WILL change the price on the item if confirmed on the Tesco website of from someone's confirmed DTD, but will remove the Confirmed date from the left hand column until someone actually gets the new price confirmed.
If anyone has anything major wrong with this idea then let me know, otherwise I will continue with Plan A from now on
This seems to be a very good idea as some deals seem to be re-appearing too e.g. After Eights (but now finished) and Comfort Strawberry (will be able to buy more than 1 hopefully tomorrow)0 -
why can everyone not play nicely not only have we all saved a lot of money but we have also had a lot of fun with this thread..

PART 3
With the most politeness I can muster, who the hell are you to hijack my thread and start part 3, who decided at what level it would restart, not even a private message out of courtesy, this was in hand with the board mod and start part three at 10000 posts again, do you have any explanation, I see you've done very well already with the thanks.
Not happy at all about this.
That is absolutely ridiculous. I don't think you should have this thread closed at all Tara. I mean seriously, who cares who starts the thread? It's not as if it's some kind of glory you're attaining. And just because gazwood was the original thread starter previously, that doesn't immediately mean it's his right to start consequent threads. It's childish tbh. We're all here to help each other, the first post is just a means to know about the offer.0 -
Morning chaps
It is with regret that I inform you all that I have had a rude PM from gazwood, which I have pasted below.PART 3

I have never before pasted a PM in public before, but then again, I've never had someone been so rude to me via PM either (maybe I have been lucky). gazwood, whatever you have to say can be said here. I'm not sure why you felt the need for a PM, apart from to say things that you would not say in the open. And what's the reference to my thanks count about?????? It comes across as petty, sorry to have to say it.
If I have offended you, then I am sorry. But you had not posted on the previous thread in FOUR DAYS, so naturally I thought that you must have been busy/away. I did say that I hoped nobody minded and thanked you in huge font at the top of post #1. ETA: I started this partly because there was a poster in Thread 2 worrying that she would never find the new thread and I wanted to post a link to it in the old thread so that she could follow us here.
So, gazwood... the next move is up to you, since you feel that you 'own' the thread. If you want, you can start a new Part 3 thread and we can ask the mods to close this one. I am happy either way. I didn't start this thread to cause trouble and I want this resolved.0 -

Eek I bought 2 of the Olay yesterday late afternoon, and ebtered the receipts yesterday evening. Does that mean I won't qualify for the DTD payment on them?0 -
My Friday vouchers still being processed:mad: - this delaying tactic is costing me lots of DTD downtime due to lack of recycling:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
i have just checked my ones from last friday (which arrived on the tuesday) and they arrived at 15.53 if thats anything to go by.It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0
