This hasnt been the experience on here especially with the lady from scarborough where they've tracked down all her transactions via CCTV so be careful!

That tracking by CCTV is really worrying, I understand in instances where people are really going overboard why it might be necessary, but otherwise it seems excessive. I am genuinely buying for more than one household, as are others, so although I will stick to my limit, I will go over the 100 as it isn't just for me. CCTV tracking wouldn't know that though, yet Tesco seem to recognise that people do shop for other family members.

  • I'm really proud of my shop today:D I went to Tesco's specifically to DTD, only buying things we needed. Cereal, cheese, coffee, milk etc... only I went and forgot my list:(

However I didn't do too badly. I did pick up a few wrong things, Eg John West salmon instead of the Princes, but it's still got some DTD on it so not a huge biggie. A few things were less than in asda but *shrugs* with a baby and a toddler in tow I wasn't about to do 2 shops. Besides, I've just put the list into mysupermarket (yes I'm sad) and there is an £8.97 difference, with one of the N/F being an item that is more expensive in Asda, and the baby new potatoes N/F but will update tomorrow as to whether that really is the case or not.

I didnt do badly considering I was going off memory:T

It sounded like they have also been using their card details which, AFAIK, could be seriously dodgy with regards to the Data Protection Act - the purpose of giving Tesco your card details is for payment, not surveillance!
