I think thats referring to what was mentioned in the Daily Mail today.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1374258/Supermarket-price-war-descends-farce-Asda-RAISES-costs-Tesco-bulk-buys-fail-deliver-value.html
Asda blamed a computer problem for the fact the rollback prices had risen rather than fallen.

I am not saying this may not be true. But don't be too surprised if these same items suddenly appear as rollback in a few days/weeks from now - we have all witnessed their approach of raise the price, create a discount/BOGOF/rollback etc.

There's really no need. It's getting to the stage where people can;t even have a discussion of the pros and cons of anything because those who disagree will keep throwing it back in their faces.

Surely we should be adult enough to have a debate, make a decision and move on rather than picking on people :(

    i bought these

2 x T.FINEST* 6 TRAD PORK SAUSAGES 454G £ 4.00 * £ 4.00 one day this week, possibly monday and it did compare them, so if asda price has gone down since then it should be a goer:)

edited to say they are a different price to yours even thought the desciption and weight are the same?? so actually i don't know

    Same ones.

They have been reduced from £2.58 in Asda, and they are 2 for £4 in Tesco, so should come up matched then.

    Thanks.

Freezer full of sausages to go aside the lamb then. Roll on BBQ time.

With all the free coke, and ridiculously cheap wine, magners and fruit shoots - might possibly be the best summer of BBQ's ever.

Yes confirmed for me today from yesterdays shop, curious how they know which one you purchase as they just say toothpaste on receipt but they seem to know some how

I showed Mrs Anon the spreadsheet last night - she suggested stocking up on dishwasher items. We haven't got a dishwasher, says I. For when we get one, she replies.

Thanks Tesco, looks like you may have cost me the price of a dishwasher for the sake of a DTD saving on dishwasher detergent

I made DH buy me a chest freezer for the garage yesterday, all because i cant fit no more in my fridge/freezer and could not live with the thought that i could stock up more if i had somewhere to put it :)

    Tried these sausages today:-

Tesco Finest* 6 Traditional Pork Sausages 454G £2.58

The Asda extra special ones are £1.93.

Needed sausages for BBQ's in summer anyway and was already going to return £20 DTD thanks to the dishwasher tablets so thought I'd see what the results came back as.

Should match though, making the sausages about £1.30. And they are lovely. Should also work for the 12 chipolata's at the same price.

I tried these a couple of days ago and didn't match - sorry
