Good grief, I heard on the radio today that Big Brother was back, thought it was on channel 5 not Tesco TV.
How could they prove you were not shopping for an ill relative,Im sure this practice is illegal unless it is stated clearly that are and can moniter every customers moves and that you agree to it they cannot just assume surley that is against our consumer rights?

So, if you are using £200, for separate (verifiable) different households, will you potentially be subjected to this kind of treatment?!

Watching you walk through the carpark too?! What to do they do, check the tills at the end of the night and those with vouchers track the CCTV to check on people?! That sounds like abuse of Tesco's powers, never mind abuse on the dtd system!
they'll be checking the finger prints on the vouchers next :rotfl:

Surely if people are geting caught on cctv their has to be a reason. I think that the most common reason has to be that people are using a store that no one else is using dtd in and they are more noticeable and they are sticking to same store. I can't see that the clubcard or credit card would link them instore. It would link them at head office when vouchers are processed but not straightaway instore. Maybe the manager has his suspicions that it is the same person and has checked the cctv and worked it out himself. Hope you understand what I mean.
It doesnt make it right and no one should be made to feel that they can't use the same store, it's just my opinion on why some people are getting pulled up. Personally if I was pulled up and wasnt over the limit I would give up a right old fuss.
Some folks are lucky and have various stores close by, I only have one within 7 miles, Im sure the same security guy sees me every day, so for the past two days I have bought my shopping paying cash each time.

Last month I pushed my luck, and got away with using over £200 of vouchers in my local. Was eventually told I was over the monthly limit, and couldnt use any more till April.

Went in on Tuesday and they had looked on the cctv and matched it up. Said that because i had abused the system they would accept no more vouchers from me, ever.

They even watched me walk through the carpark afterwards (I bumped into a work colleague who i decided to give a voucher, but they pulled her aside as soon as she stepped through the door, and swiftly confiscated the voucher+ receipt.)

You could use them at another store maybe? Or give them to your OH/or a relative to use for you

Are you using the same car on every visit? Mr T has ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) in use through its fuel stations.

maybe they can employ this technology in itys store carparks as well?
