IMPORTANT... FOOD RECALL FRAY BENTOS PIES!!!
http://www.food.gov.uk/news/newsarchive/2011/mar/fraybentos
:eek:
The boozy pie should be on the spreadsheet, all 9 of mine are the boozy ones. One of mine bought this week is a recall, the recall was issued end of March!!! Tesco left them on the shelf.
Just glad it's not all of them, was worried how I was going to explain the need to buy so many in a short space of time.0 -
Not tested this but saw them while in Mr As earlier. Could potential be a pretty big DTD!!
Oral B Kids stages electric toothbrush.
Mr.t = £10.00
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=251330608
Mr.A = £2
http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/catalog/sectionpagecontainer.jsp?departmentid=1214921923791
DTD=£16
They are so cute as well!! I wanted the Tiger one for myself. Shop I was in today had Disney Cars, Tigger and Winnie the pooh all the same price.
In the blurb for the linked one it states, "Collectable Princesses help encourage children to brush." At £10 a pop I think this is would have been a very limited collection!
£2 is the (almost) sensible price - looks like this is being prepared for a BOGOF or B1G2F con (increase price, put on offer), as £10 isn't justified for a battery (not even rechargeable) powered toothbrush. then again, Oral B have been almost permanently on 50% off for years now.

I've had a quick search and can't find mention of it, but has anyone tried the V05 Gloss Me smoothly shampoo and conditioner? Both £3.50 at Tesco / £2 at Asda, giving £3 DTD so net cost of 50p.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700

Hi Everyone
I am totally new to all this DTD and have never done it before. I am planning on dragging my poor 3 year old round Tesco's this am after play group to see if we can find some lamb and a few other bits. I was planning on printing off the spread sheet to help me know what to look for as I don't have a phone that i can view this on whilst going round.
My question is should i print it off before playgroup at 9.20 this am will it be up to date ish then or should i quickly come home after playgroup at 11.15?
Have to admit I am a bit nervous about trying this and loading it all up and paying for things and hoping it works ok?
Thanks for all the guidance with the spreadsheet and the links by the way and I found out about this thread from the weekly email

When I was using my vouchers last night I asked the cashier if she had seen many of the vouchers and she said only a few. She said they were mainly being used by men. She also said it was too fiddly to do the whole DTD thing. I said that people must have too much money if they dont want to bother. I shopped for Mum Sis and me and came away having spent £90.00 of which £10.00 was cash and the rest was vouchers and between us we have £79.00 of vouchers coming back today. Although I let my sister go on her own a few days ago and she got 3 racks of lamb and a bottle of champagne for a present. When her price check came back as the champagne was cheaper in Tesco it wiped out the dtd on the lamb.
So remember to watch out for that.0
