well im back now from my 2 shops, had a nightmare day as forgot bank card earlier so had to go all way back over to tesco extra, brought the kelloggs crunchy nut cornflakes to get free bowl and ended up being charged for the bowl (didn't realize you had to buy 2 boxes lol.
went to my little tesco and got 2 boxes only to find they had no bowls so when going back for bank card i brought another 2 boxes to get free bowl went back to little tesco to pay for shop (couldn't earlier as no bank card) and guess what the bowls were there right at the end of the tills  SA said to manager "where did they come from" he replied saying "they have been in the back room all along" she tuts and said "this lady wanted these earlier but we knew nothing about them" the very kind manager then took me into the room and said which ones do you want and gave me 3 bowls.
think i will be having a day off from DTDing tomorrow :rotfl::rotfl:
oh no! did you get any lamb?0 -

I suggested this the other day. We are going to get clothes for our daughter, what we are going to do is double our £5 to £10 get lynx then get Dtd voucher then buy goods that make a profit turning our original £5 into £20 Dtd to spend on the clothes
hth
:eek::eek: don't broadcast that one - it works a treat and not only on clothes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Braved using my first voucher today - was only for £17.50 but it was one that had an extra 0 and a missing digit in the number at the bottom for some reason.
As it was i needn't have worried - i bought lots extra though as i was so worried so ended up spending £26 and then using the £17.50 voucher - must get better at sticking closer to DTD voucher cost!
Waiting for the result of todays shop - but the staff couldn't have been nicer - it was quite a large store and one i don't normally go to but I expected they would know about it - picked a youngish guy, he had never seen one, called over his manager they were both lovely - he asked me how it worked , i explained, then his supervisor sort of explained and said she should try it herself - then after she had gone he asked me to explain again as he wanted to try it! Chatted for quite a while but i felt a bit bad that he thinks just by doing his normal shop he might get a voucher for £17.50 as I obvi8ously didn't say i was picking out items. Bit of a trek but I might go back there same time next week with my next voucher now I know i'm not going to be scrutinised for using it!!0 -

Hi,
Sorry this is a little off topic but in my local the gold blend has gone up from £3 to £4.25 today as it has everywhere else (and confirmed on my receipt when I bought some earlier). However, although they have updated the SEL in the coffee aisle, they've left a big display out in the freezer section (which I saw this evening when grabbing some cornettos) in a huge box which has £3 plastered all over it.
If I buy a couple can I get DTD instore (I've heard others mention this but there are absolutely NO signs up in my extra about it so is it deffo nationwide?) and if I did this could I still submit the receipt to pricechecker?

The kinder surprise is no longer showing on the Tesco web site.0

I think its gone up in asda too now so if you get it for £3 then tesco are cheaper for it so no dtd, will double check asda now..
edit - is it jar or the pouch? if its the pouch they're showing as £3.38 on asda
sorry ignore me lol, ive just read u mean dtd instore *doh*0
