Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

Hi,
Sorry this is a little off topic but in my local the gold blend has gone up from £3 to £4.25 today as it has everywhere else (and confirmed on my receipt when I bought some earlier). However, although they have updated the SEL in the coffee aisle, they've left a big display out in the freezer section (which I saw this evening when grabbing some cornettos) in a huge box which has £3 plastered all over it.
If I buy a couple can I get DTD instore (I've heard others mention this but there are absolutely NO signs up in my extra about it so is it deffo nationwide?) and if I did this could I still submit the receipt to pricechecker?
TIA
Hi
There was a large display in my store today as well...On Asda this is still showing as £2 and it is scanning in T at £4.25.
If you want a real bargain, do the pricechecker and you will end up 25p up per bag, if you do DTD in store you will end up paying £1.75 a bag,0 -
Still waiting for both of my missing in action vouchers (submitted yesterday). Not happy! :mad:
Had to go to Tesco anyway - it was sooooooo difficult to shop with real money. For the first time in about three weeks I had to buy the best value stuff, not just the most expensive DTD!
Everywhere I looked there were DTD items waving at me from their shelves! Saying :hello: Pick me! Pick me! But I had to ignore them! :undecided:
Not fair! I want my vouchers back!
I got yesterdays - still waiting on 5 yes 5 from Monday - not mine - input for my Dad - after my advice on what to buy Sun/Mon - I am praying they come through tomorrow - if not it will have to be yet another email to CEO - I really hope they dont just start picking and choosing which to honour - !!0 -

I bought a Finest NZ rack of lamb today at £6.70, how on earth do I work out the expected dtd on it please? Spent so long reading this thread and working out potential shopping lists to use up/maximise my odd-amount vouchers that my brain no longer functions
I know I could just wait until the voucher comes in tomorrow but the anticipation and excitement just might kill me off! :rotfl:
i love a bit of wednesday evening maths....let's give it a go:
you paid £6.70 eh?
£6.70 divided by £25/kg = 0.268kg
therefore, your pack of lamb weighs 0.268kg
how much would that have cost at asda eh?
0.268kg multiplied by £9.72 = £2.60496 = £2.60
so your lamb would have cost £2.60 at asda :eek:
how much will my dtd voucher be?
£6.70 minus £2.60 = £4.10. double that = £8.20
so your voucher will be equal to £8.20!

These are now on offer at 2 for £2 in Tesco. Still got a bit of DTD but not much!
If you buy three packets:
T = 3.48
A = 3
Cost = 2.52 for three packs, so works out at 84p per pack2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book0 -

I see a few of us have chanced the £12.98 finish tabs. Fingers crossed it doesn't miraculously come back as N/F!!
I'd like to ask - where abouts are the Rippa Dippas kept in store please? I thought they might be near the fridge raiders, but I was in 2 T's today and could find them in either. Am I right in thinking they are in the fridge?? TIA
It's only a game
