The software on the receipt enter stage changes things.
sometimes the receipt says 6:30 pm , which becomes 18:30 on receipt. Also noughts are missed off so receipt says 05467 and voucher says 54670 -
Another question, i'm new to this...how does it work when buying BOGOF?
Someone posted up the Hawian Sun Lotion for £12 in tesco (BOGOF) in ASDA £6
Also i'm not 100% on how this all works still?
I gather its a case of going into tesco, finding something which i know is cheaper in asda, buying it and getting refunded DTD. Is it as simple as doing that though? Getting my receipt and entering my details online, then waiting for the vouchers to get here?0 -
Hey Cherry,
I got a £7 rack of lamb which was about 280g and that was just the right amount for me for my dinner and I'm a 13st male. So work out from that.
As for cooking it I cooked mine using the following method and it was bootiful! Very tender.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Let the lamb sit out of the fridge for about 10 mins to get to about room temp and dab it with kitchen roll to take away any excess moisture.
Pour a little sunflower oil on it and rub it all over it so it's got a coating of oil all over it and then salt and cracked pepper on it all over.
Get the frying pan on (with no oil in it) and put on the highest heat possible until very hot.
Stick the lamb in the frying pan and sear each side and end, just about 15secs on each raw area and once you've done that lightly wrap it in kitchen foil and stick it in the over for about 40 mins.
Very important about 5 mins before it's due to come out put an empty plate in the oven so when you bring the lamb out of the oven you put it on your heated plate and let it rest for about 6-8 mins before munching in - this lets the juices get absorbed back into the meat and is very juicy and tender.
This made it medium and if your weight of lamb is a little lighter or heavier you may have to adjust the oven time slightly.
Before everyone starts picking holes in my cooking method I'm in no way a good cook by any stretch of the imagination but I know how to make a good steak and using the same kind of method it made the lamb lovelyIf you don’t speculate, you can’t accumulate. :beer:0 -

The numbers on your receipt will be thus..........
1/04/11 20.03 3188 011 1076 6224
Your voucher will display them in this way......
1/04/11 08.03 03188 011 076 6224
Its their system which create the discrepancy on all vouchers.0 -

Honestly? You lost me on about the 48th paragraph. It's no wonder people's vouchers are sometimes slow coming out, half of head office are probably still trying to decipher your email!0 -
... you basically are holding your hands up to abusing the promotion by a huuuuggggeeee margin... you got your comeuppance, are you surprised by the result? If I were Mr.T I would tell you to do one... luckily i'm not
"36. Where we suspect that any false or fraudulent claim or one abusing the spirit of the Price Check scheme is being made, we reserve the right to refuse to issue or redeem a Price Check Voucher."
ps. this is my own opinion, others will have theirs...
I never mentioned a huge margin. I said I had made £2000 worth of shopping, on behalf of 2 addresses, and have redeemed "over £200 of vouchers" I don't know the exact amount they have on record.
Did the email imply I used £2000 of vouchers?0 -
Hello
its a lovely store i've found! No lamb tho!!
J x
Hello - yes they've been very nice so far (but I've been trying to pick which SA to go to). If they do get the lamb in you can have my share - I hate lamb.
They don't always have everything in so I got to Clifton Moor as well.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0
