Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 3

It is in the e-mail but it is with the bits at the top not one of the headline posts. Dont think it will make much difference. I think most people who read the e-mail also read the forums and are probably aware of the promotion. Also I dont think Tesco will change the T&C to say you cant dtd a receipt that you used a DTD voucher on as it just says coupon when you use a coupon to pay. How are they going to prove what type of coupon you paid with when you enter the receipt to get another coupon. They have already proved they dont know how to run this promotion by the fact that A. none of the assistants seem to know about it and B. they dont know how to deal with the vouchers when you present.
Long may it continue and lets all be a bit less paranoid!0 -
Ok, time to test something new for the spreadsheet:
Could some people test this out and see what they think - the spreadsheet has been published as a web page. It will auto update live from the current editors version of the standard spreadsheet as and when that is updated.
The perk will be it allows unlimited viewers at any time, so no more issues with having multiple copies floating around that only allow X number of people on at a time with some not able to access page 2 etc etc.
This should fix everything, although some limitations in funtionality, such as the quantities wont work - although my understanding is they only worked for editors anyway.
Anyway, here is the link - let me know if it works for you - if it doesnt, please continue to access the spreadsheet in the normal way (as described in post two in this thread)NEW WEB PAGE BASED SPREADSHEET VERSION

Many thanks its working great here.0 -
Loving the avatar Thanatos!!My daughters are my world0

Thanatos (and any other editors who are still on) might be easier to discuss it in chat on the master sheet, save cluttering up the forum with pages of spreadsheet discussion again!0

Works for me too. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Just came back from a Tesco and done my first 2 recycles , (normally use vouchers for main shop. After calling over a supervisor and her shouting out what to do the cashier has defaced the whole of the top box containg Tesco Extra logo with ' 5/4/11 Tesco price check voucher used ' she then signed it. I have checked the T & C's nothing on there yet about this and have sent an e mail to Tesco to double check.
That's why I always grab the receipt before they can get their trout fins on it.My daughters are my world0 -

agreed - although was looking for a few comments from users as well as the editors which is why posted here too (over night while it should be a little quieter on the forum front!)

EDIT: Just noticed "comments" are listed at bottom of page numerically ordered - it is possible to publish in alternative formats, such as excel (that would maintain the comments as you are used to them) or PDF that would not. I chose web page based for maximum compatability, but let me know your thoughts on other formats too!0
