I have only done one shop a couple of weeks ago and got a voucher for £31 ... I see they have now capped it at £20. Does anyone know if I can use all of my original £31? I assume the can't drop it as it was before the change? I ask as I am not in the UK now and mum was going in to use it and I would hate for her to have problems.
Also is it worth looking for more DTD deals to use in this shop or not to bother ... ie are you allowed to use a receipt that has the DTD discounted on it to claim another if you see what i mean? I have tried to scan many pages but hadn't read up for a couple of weeks so might have missed it
thanks
Yes you can still use the voucher - does it have numbered terms and conditions and are the scissor signs on it?
Looking for more DTD deals and imputting the receipt in again is called recycling which is perfectly acceptable. Just remember that you can't get more than £100 worth of DTDs per month. My daughters are my world0 -
Aww thanks all you fab people, wouldn't be able to dtd with as much success without all the info and help on here! I knew you'd come to my mum's rescue - she was all stressed about it and I said 'not to worry, I can ask some people, they'll know what to do', and you did so THANKS! It would seriously pain me to have to just lose a voucher! Will report back about how she gets on with asking for a duplicate bless her0

Ok, time to test something new for the spreadsheet:
Could some people test this out and see what they think - the spreadsheet has been published as a web page. It will auto update live from the current editors version of the standard spreadsheet as and when that is updated.
The perk will be it allows unlimited viewers at any time, so no more issues with having multiple copies floating around that only allow X number of people on at a time with some not able to access page 2 etc etc.
This should fix everything, although some limitations in funtionality, such as the quantities wont work - although my understanding is they only worked for editors anyway.
Anyway, here is the link - let me know if it works for you - if it doesnt, please continue to access the spreadsheet in the normal way (as described in post two in this thread)NEW WEB PAGE BASED SPREADSHEET VERSION
HERE
EDIT: Just noticed "comments" are listed at bottom of page numerically ordered - it is possible to publish in alternative formats, such as excel (that would maintain the comments as you are used to them) or PDF that would not. I chose web page based for maximum compatability, but let me know your thoughts on other formats too!0 -

i don't think the offer will get pulled that early...
...i reckon there will be a BIG change in their T&Cs.
when i say 'big', i don't mean a load of changes. i reckon they'll add a single extra point:
a receipt cannot be entered on the price check website if a DTD voucher has been used on your transaction.
something along those lines, i.e. recycling vouchers (MSE definition) can no longer be done.
we'll just wait and see.....
If they "sign your new receipt", thereby not permitting you to use it for a further claim then the Price Check Offer only gives you on average "one times the difference back" over two shops, not Double The Difference.
eg first shop of £20, assume A prices would be £13, hence £14 DTD voucher. Buy the same basket of £20 the next day, use voucher for £14, net cost £6. Total for two Tesco baskets would be £20 plus £6, a total of £26, EXACTLY the same as those two baskets would have cost at Asda (two baskets each of £13)!Money Saving Fan.0 -
i think we need an interactive map so we can all point to the town/stores we are dtding in.....IM A DTDER ADDICT0
