I was charged £3.88 at the till, so went to customer service where they sent someone to rip the £3 sign off the box. Then they gave me £1.76 back and wrote O/C on my receipt and signed it.
I wonder if they will question it if I get a voucher to spend.
Same thing happened to me last week - it should be Ok, nobody questioned mine as the O/C was only on the tea bags.ELITE 5:2

Well I have been watching this thread for a while but have been trying to figure out how it works. So I did my regular online shop and added a few of the suggested DTD bits, I got a voucher back for just over £11, so I was chuffed to bit for my first go.
Tonight I headed off to Tesco Extra (Gillingham - anyone else shopping there?) and stocked up on more (will post details when I get the reciept back through) although I did panic about just buying DTD items as I felt like a criminal so added a few everyday extras like milk...
Anyway to get to the point, I have a couple of questions that I couldnt see in the "guide" - when you say it doesnt work in Metro or Express stores, do you mean it doesnt recognise the receipts or you cant use the vouchers or both?
Also if I were to get a few of these vouchers for £20, could I use them off one big shop or is it only one per shop?
Thanks :j
You can only redeem one voucher per transaction (this is on the voucher t&cs)
the online t&cs also say one per day per household, but, well ......
It doesn't work in express stores at all (different pricing) however I have both bought and used vouchers in a Metro. I believe these are fine now but check the FAQs on the Tescopricecheck site0 -
