TV Licensing

Don't know if this is the right place but as it is tv then thought it might be.

I have just moved out of rented accommodation before moving in to a new house i have moved back to my parents for a few weeks (well hopefully only a few weeks). After calling to cancel my tv licence on 30 March i received a letter today saying Cancellation at top and said my tv licence would end on 31 May 2011. So after calling them this evening i have a number for head office to call during office hours tomorrow.
I paid through the paypoint card every month (23rd of the month) i paid the first years licence in 6months and was then paying for licence after June 2011.

I ask if this meant i was paying someone elses tv licence for 2 month and told - YES

I then asked what could be done and was told i couldnt gt a refund for the 2 months remaining which i think is disgraceful. They are quick enough to ask for money when you move in but when money is already paid they wont refund!!!

Please help!
