You would probably be better of buying compatible ones if you don't use that much because they come without an expirey date on the chip and can normally be bought for just over £3 each including delivery as well as having 3 -4 times more ink in them!0

Or just buy inkjet refill kits. Much cheaper and las far longer. Get them at Tesco http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-8106.aspx?utm_source=GoogleShopping&utm_medium=GSF_NormalFeed&utm_campaign=GSF_TescoDirect&utm_content=207-8106 and http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-9331.aspx?utm_source=GoogleShopping&utm_medium=GSF_NormalFeed&utm_campaign=GSF_TescoDirect&utm_content=100-9331.
Asda, other supermarkets, Ebay. etc. sell them as well.0 -
Can you change the date on the printer, con it into thinking there is still a year to go on the ink?0

A refill kit won't help in this instance because the problem is that the cartridges are expired before being able to use them - having a refill kit to hand won't solve that problem0 -

Then if people can't con the catridges, don't buy HP as people will be conned instead. No such probs with my non-HP printer !0 -

100% Agree! I changed my printer to a Kodak after seeing their advert on TV but have realised since then that although I can get a good deal on them (4 x 10XL cartridges for £16.49) I should have got an Epson one and bought one of those bottle systems as they seem to be dead cheap to run.0 -
OP have you buying these packs?

..cos they are modified cartridges with less ink than normal.
yes thats them, appeared a reasonable deal at the time0 -
I think you would do better with the XL black and the standard colour cartridges..thats what I use with my C6280.That gum you like is coming back in style.0

You can get theses cartridges to work by changing the date on your computer to one just after you purchased them.
With Windows right click on the time in the bottom right corner of your screen click on adjust time and date, and reset the date.0 -

And then buy inkjet refill kits as advised in my previous postings in this thread.0
