Does home insurance cover anger?

I got really frustrated with my laptop the other night and whacked the keyboard in anger. Unfortunately I hit it a bit too hard and have totally broken it. I've had it looked at by an expert and it is damaged beyond repair.

I have home insurance with "gadget cover", do you think my home insurance policy would cover this? I know it's a long shot, but I wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience? Go on, own up...

On claim form, how would you explain a loss as its neither a result of an unforeseen event or an accident.

Fortunately I was able to argue that in this case my eyes were an 'appliance' (ie a tool used to view internet streaming) and the incident took place in a 'domestic' setting (my living room), so I was able to claim the cost of a new laptop.

The laptop was faulty and in your misguided effort to repair it you accidently smashed the keyboard to bits. There you go acidentle damage.
