Egg card - Potential Security Risk letter

Just a query, I've had a letter from Egg (it looks official - correct details etc) saying that "As part of our ongoing security activities to protect and safeguard your accounts, we have identified a potential security risk on you Egg Card." They go on to say they are going to block my account as a precautionary measure…

I got one of these letters from Egg last week.

My card is going to be cancelled tomorrow but the direct debit is also due tomorrow. As I don't want to risk being charged a late payment fee, I have already paid it off via online banking just incase some goes wrong with the changeover to a new account/card.

Hope I don't have to wait too long for my new card as Egg Money is my main spending card.
