    I think it's the way of things now, we have been spoilt by peat based compost and expect all compost to be the same, and it won't be. We just have to adapt. I am thinking of getting one of those seive things to help remove all the bigger lumps for when I want to plant seeds, otherwise, I don't think it matters too much, as long as you keep an eye on that mould. I just remove any I see.

    Their seed & potting compost (99p for 20l) was fine but they had sold out at local store so bought multi-purpose instead.
