Marvelon shortage - is it over?

Just wondered if anyone knew if stocks are back? I couldn't get any mid March and so had to switch to another Pill which is starting to have unpleasant side effects now.

I'm in London if this makes a difference?
Thanks

    Thanks chloo.

I also checked in a few chemists and still no Marvelon, so I might give it a go - Microgynon is making me bloated and greasy - yeuch!

Don't know if it is any help, but I saw this website advertised on the tube the other week http://www.hardtofindmedicines.co.uk/

Microgynon is horrible, made me fat and horrible.

  • I can confirm that there is still shortages. I cannot find any anywhere. I've had to go back to my GP to get something else which is really really annoying.
  • I got given a different tablet last time I went. GP said it was a generic version of marvelon so would be the same formulation. It's called gedarel. I haven't noticed a difference

I just got changed over from Microgynon to Jasmin - too early to tell if it's better yet I think.

I neved did try the link that faithcelia gave as it's only open office hours and it's hard for me to make a 'personal' call during this time. Did anyone else?
