    Manchester or Bradford postcode and im sure you can beat those figures.

    I'm a motor insurance underwriter - the highest quote that I have ever offered for a single vehicle was £55,000. It wasn't a case of putting a stupid price on it because we didn't want it either - the proposer was seriously considering taking the policy out...

    Here's mine.....
    With 5 years no claims. I've chose not to have my NCB protected, have no extras. And comprehensive insurance:
    £1934
    Save in 2013: #166: 9,122.51/[STRIKE]5,000[/STRIKE] 10,000
    Interest earned in 2014: £257.61 20/04/14

    I've just tried this although I am not due to renew until Feb next year. Happy days as I can see that the cheapest is £225 and I am currently paying nearer £300, however the most is £2223.
    This little exercise has cheered me up no end!
