Most Expensive Car Insurance Quote

When using a well known comparison website to get a TPF&T quote, I scrolled down out of curiosity to see what the most expensive quote would be. (The cheapest was around £650ish, which is way more than last year already.:mad:) A fair few companies wouldn't quote, having only a year's NCB and less than 2 years driving experience.

Any guesses for the most expensive quote?

I'm 33 with no accidents or claims so far in 16 years (touch wood that it stays that way too!)

I drive a 1,2 clio which is 6 yrs old. My highest quote was £14,400! I went for the £225 one Although this is cheaper than yours, I was astonished!

wow I thought my hike in price was bad.

Went from £700 up to £1,800. For a 1990 MR2.
Its a safe bet to say I am still hunting for the best price lol.

100k for a fiat that cost £800 ibelieve, it was in the sun last week so not sure how much of it you believe

When my eldest took out his first policy last year the most expensive quote on a comparison site was over £168,000.

Unfortunately I didn't take a screen shot of it.

Cheapest was £1,200.

There was a lad on North West Tonight a few weeks ago who was quoted around 100k for a corsa...

thought i do an insurance quote for my little 125cc motorcycle
i have no claims bonus
i had an accedent with no payout this year, it was 50/50 result
i have a full motorcycle licence
still thought it would be about £300-400

was way wrong a company called m-direct quoted me
£26,900 for TP
£27,040 for TPFT
£27,600 for fully comprehensive

cheapest though was £239 so happy

I had a renewal quote for business car insurance a few years back.......


£123,000

(although this particular insurer was pulling out of the market so didn't want repeat business )

When I was shopping around an insurer called Quinn Direct quoted me £5K to insure my Fabia. Compared to just over £300 for the cheapest.

I always have a laugh when comparison websites to see which is the most expensive companies which give quotes are.
