Some car traders on eBay are tax evaders, therefore all car traders on eBay are tax evadersHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
He's sold a stole vehicle and refuses to refund the buyer.
He's therefore known to be a dishonest trader and possibly this extends to his tax liabilities.
Balance of probabilities?
So, DVS and gordikin, your view is that he's honest Joe in all his dealings?
Or are you merely being argumentative for the sake of it?0 -

As for being argumentative, if not agreeing with someone is argumentative, you too are tarred with the same brush.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
its been a while now since the judgement that he had to pay forthwith, i rang the courts today and they said they have had no contact from defendant,
i think its time to take things further.
any idea what action i should take next, he lives at home with his parents so i think bailiffs wouldent be an option?
i think he works, so would attachment of earnings be the ideal next step?0 -

You should read HMCS leaflet ex321 "I have a judgment but the defendant hasn't paid - what do I do?" http://hmctscourtfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/ex321_0406.pdf
Also read leaflet ex322 "How do I ask for a warrant of execution?" http://hmctscourtfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/ex321_0406.pdf
then if you wish you can apply for a Warrant of Execution from the court. using HM Courts Form N323 available here http://hmctscourtfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/n323_0499.pdf
or
you can apply for a Attachment of Earnings order, if you know who he is employed by - read leaflet EX323 - How do I ask for an attachment of earnings order?’ http://hmctscourtfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/ex323_0405.pdf
or
you can apply for a Third Party Debt order if you have details of any in credit bank accounts he has - read leaflet EX325 "Third party debt orders and charging orders" http://hmctscourtfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/ex325_1208.pdf
If you need to get details of his employer of financial standing / bank accounts you will need to serve an "Order for Questioning" on him to be called in front of the court to give those details to you using HMCS form N316 - http://hmctscourtfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/n316_0302.pdf
Before you take it any further you need to be aware that fees are payable for any of these actions up front payable by you, the Judgement Creditor. The costs/fees will be added to the amount the debtor owes you Fees are detailed in leaflet ex50 - http://hmctscourtfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/ex50_e.pdf.

My posts #31 and #37 are still what my advice would be.
#37 in particular - issue a WOE but not for the full balance.
Nothing stopping you issuing a WOE just because it's his parent's house, bailiff can still levy on goods as long as they belong to the debtor."We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -

Well what else can the seller do if he only gets £200 a week, Cant exactly pull money out of the trees.
Just set a savings account up and let him pay into that every week.0
