Quite right FS is, the stuff for proper windscreen clearing is in smallish bottles either yellow or green, about 500ml, it's called something along the lines of 1:100 screenwash, and is in my local Lidl's today at about a quid a bottle.

Brilliant stuff, put a capful in a bucket and clean your house windows, they come up a treat, also i don't let washnwax get on the screen when i wash the car, but use a solution of the above to wash it instead, the screen comes up crystal clean without smearing when it next rains.

The OP doesn't say whereabouts they are...

My local Lidl had the screen wash, (blue stuff, concentrate and straight fill), in stock today at 4:30pm, this is in the new Royal borough...

They also had the new stock of summer screen wash in the smaller bottles...

They had screen wash on their specials in January but ours still has a few in stock at the moment. It will be a bit hit and miss dependant on how well they sold and how many they were sent at the time.
