    Hi
Need help urgently. Toby?? (Anstis)?? phoned this morning saying-you entered a competition with Heart FM and requested the song Taylor Dane - Tell it to my heart. Did I have time for a chat. I had to tell him unfortunately i was going to work at that very minute. He said we could record it and it would go out about 3pm. Apologized and said i really needed to go as i was late enough as it was. Asked if was available to do it on Monday at noon. Vaguely remember entering this comp but dont know what it is I've won or if I've won anything. Also, I dont really know that much about Heart FM. If anyone could tell me if I've won something and what Heart FM region it is and a little about the radio station incase they ask on monday.:eek:

    Thanks

  • I saw somwhere that there was a facebook search site to help you find competitions youve won, so youd just search your name + winner for example. does anyone know which site this was?

Today I received a letter saying 'Do you remember entering a competiton?' and it said if I phoned them with the ID number on the letter then I'd be given another ID code, and could be eligible for a prize - I wonder if this is genuine - but I have my doubts.
    What do you think?

I would wait and see what others say before ringing as you may find your phone bill shoots up! In my opinion - it is a scam (but I could be wrong) x

Got the same letter. I personally think it's a scam. If you remember the scratchcards that used to put in some magazines, they had a similar address to this letter.

Can anyone recommend a reliable alternative to the UK National Lottery run by US Camelot.I want to play syndicates and preferably with less numbers than the 49 in the low-chance one available to me at present.Have played the Irish lotto before it went from 42 to 45 numbers whilst working over there years ago.Previous to that in the early `80s I had many small winds whilst playing the Canadian Lottery.Camelot it appears has made it difficult to play lotteries based in other countries, such is their clout.Several years ago had my sub payment returned by Australian Lottery organisation, citing conflict with UK law!To get around that had to get a relative over there to buy my tickets for the 45 number draws.Have done the old European Lottery with several small wins but am wary of these offshore organisations.Any positive ideas gratefully received.
