Re the above I do see where you are coming from but I'd just rather not see the main board getting too many discussion related posts on.The BG team are there for us but too many discussion mosts are on the main board it will dilute it's clarity & create more work for the bG team.
I do see how quickly things can be broadcast to all via the main board but it's something we just need to consider.
no-one afaik wants discussions on the main board, i proberly send glad more pm's requesting moves/merges etc than i care to remember
it was just a point that as was discussed earlier more peeps will help when posted on the main than in comps disc, as more peeps visit the main xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
I know this isnt a competition- but dont know where to put it for advice .
Have been using the new Roboform which asks for a password -fro the last 3 days its been causing email problems (it must be a password clash !) .
Since uninstalling it my email problem has stopped .
The older version did not ask for me to generate a password .
Anyone tell me how to get round the password thing in roboform or another form filler in that hold passwords to sites you regularly visit .
If you move this thread -please let me know where to -thanks
wELL, I CAN SEE I HAVE HAD A LOT OF HELP HERE -ESPECIALLY BY MOVING IT TO THIS SPOT -ALREADY LOST 4 PAGES DOWN !0 -
How do we enter? Thanks to those who help us to win !0

I have the new version of Roboform and it doesn't ask me for a password
did you by any chance install RoboForm Everywhere (Online) if you use this version you have to install a master password to sync with the online data and there is also an annual fee
try installing the Desktop\Laptop version where you don't have to set a password and there is no annual fee
hope this helps0 -

I've just reinstalled Roboform and it is Version 7.4 (I think). It's not Roboform Everywhere and there was no fee, but it asked for a password. I'll see how I get on with it and if there are any problems I'll go back to version 6 (thanks for the link).0 -

Can't understand why it's asking for a password, I'm using version 7.4.2 without a password
the only problem with going back to version 6 is that it will not work with the latest version of Firefox
just a thought have you tried turning off Roboform Sync from the menu? if you have previously installed Roboform Everywhere this will in effect make it the Desktop version or so I have been told!

Been doing a bit more digging and it now appears that the different versions of Roboform are now integrated and it asks which version you would like to install
it also asks if you would like to set a "Master Password" if you have set one apparently there is a way of disabling it see the exerpt below taken from http://www.roboform.com/support/faq/roboform#faq_nopassword
Q: I need no password protection for my Identities and Passcards. How do I get rid of Master Password?
A: You need to get rid of Master Password completely:
- Tell RoboForm not to password-protect new Passcards and Identities.
- If you have already created a number of password-protected Passcards and/or Identities, you can remove password protection from them by going to RoboForm -> Options -> Security, clicking "Set Master Password, Mass Protect/Unprotect", checking the "Remove Master Password" option and clicking OK.
- If you forgot your Master Password then click "I forgot it!" button in the Set/Remove Master Password dialog.
Hope this helps

You're a genius Amilucky? I didn't see a question asking me whether I wanted a Master Password or I would have said no, as I don't use Roboform for passwords. But now I can get rid of it!!! Yay!

Ok, folks. I am wondering if anyone here has vouchers for any of the four films you have to see to qualify for this competition. I went with a whole group to see 'Super 8' and have thus collected quite a few 'Super 8' vouchers, but have none of the others.0
