We're not sure yet. The stay is for a Saturday night. It's meant to be a family fun weekend for 2 adults & 2 kids but we're not that lucky so it's just me & Mr M but can't see that being a problem? They said give 4 weeks notice and at least 3 different dates so hopefully July or August as long as we can get booked xx

It seems to be the people with kids who win breaks for 2 and people without who win family breaks! Sure you will have a great time. The lakes will be very busy in July & August but hopefully the weather will be better then. x

Morning all,

Big day of competitions for me today, wanting to catch up a bit!

Has anyone had any problems recently with the emails once subscribed to the forum?, I used to get them but they have stopped now, have tried unsubscribing and resubscribing again but it doesn't seem to make much difference

Has anyone any ideas??

Dreadful showers here today but did at least get out for a walk. Tried hanging washing out but it has been soaked - O'h well no ironing to do today!

Have been checking Intercontinental hotels for BOGOFS and there are plenty if you are flexible. They are supposed to be until the end of June I think but I have just booked 2 nights at Express by Hol Inn at York from 31st July for £49! Was really wanting somewhere for the following weekend but that was £40 dearer so that will do nicely. Had been watching Premier Inns but their cheapest is usually £29 a night and no breakfast. Feeling really pleased with myself. :j

DS played in a tournament today and got spotted by a talent scout from football club academy so here's hoping!!

Hi all, sorry I've not been around much but.... woooooooo hoooooo I am now a married lady....lol
Wedding went really well and am off today on our honeymoon which I won on a comp, 4 days/3 nights in a sheepskin cottage in wales, really looking forward to it!
Hope your all well and winning lots, I haven't won anything for ages, feeling a little disheartened at the mo, but have been so busy planning the wedding, not sure what I will do with myself now...lol
