Sorry redbull, I got lost in the dalies section! :D
I meant velvet gloves guide, I know she has a list somewhere of all the spammy sites (or it might be in iwiwiw), just thought maybe it might be in there. I know I definately get a lot of emails from groupon but I never open them & just delete them :o It might be a genuine site though... I just have a habit of skimmimg through the title & deleting what I dont want!
    that ok wingo my darling
at least you got lost in the right places amongst comps

i shall have a look at vg posts

They sound lovely Red - hope you get everything sorted out without any problems. I'm missing Edinburgh now that DS1 is away - doesn't seem the same going when he isn't there to visit. We used to stay at Express by Holiday Inn at Leith and he was just a mile or so away along the road. When he comes back to the UK he is thinking about working in London so we might get to visit there instead. That won't be until July 2012 tho.

Any idea which hotel you will be staying in in Edinburgh Red?

DH took to me Liverpool for the first time last year and I loved it - hoping to go back this year! It was lovely going on the ferry etc.croisiere.gif

It is DH's home city so he enjoyed showing it off. Only took him about 19 years to take me there.

    Hiya All! :hello:

    Hope everyone is well

hugs and kisses to those that need them

    happy birthday:bdaycake: short n sweet

you may remember that last year I was deliberating on what to do with Tina our 13 years old bearded collie and couldn't make a decision

well her grand master has taken that burden from me, as after taking advise from the vet Tina was put to sleep by the vet this morning she had been very ill for about 4 weeks and this morning she was unable to go for a walk as her back legs wouldn't support her anymore the vet said that she had severe heart problems and her health was in a bad way and that there was no medication she could give to improve her health

even at the very end she was still not thinking of herself and in the final moments she was licking my face as she was slipping away, and she even still managed to have the final say as she died with a smile on her face with her tongue sticking out!

God bless Tina :A 1997-2011 may she rest in peace

it's not all doom and gloom however as I will now be able to take Alice out more instead of her being stuck in the house all of the time we now plan to spend more time with the grand-kids and Alice's son which wasn't really possible while we had Tina

it's a shame really as this year we where planning on taking Tina on holiday in Wales as she had never seen the seaside and I wanted her to see it before anything happened to her

I am still planning on taking the same holiday and hopefully even though she can't be with us she will still be there in spirit

    Best of Luck :)
