That was a shame for your DD Wingo. It always annoyed me when it was height rather than age for kids. My boys were all fairly late to grow and DD about average so never had that problem really. I know my DS's pals range from under 5ft to over 6ft which looks really strange when you see them all together! (DS just starting to grow - 5ft 5" just now)

She is one of the tallest in her year but she is extremely shy and has difficulty communicating & socialising so it's usually a chance to let her hair down & have fun as she adores her little sis. I felt so sorry for her but she just said it was ok. I took her into arcades after that

DD absolutely loves sarah jane & dr who pms. She cried when she died

So did mine, she honestly thought it was a sick joke! I think it only really sunk in when the new season on Dr Who started & they put it in memory of her.

End of month sheils, cant wait! Kids are excited DS comes back from school trip tomorrow......as quiet as the house is, I've really missed him!

Its a lovely time to go away. We don't have that holiday here so we have to go in July when it is too hot. How many bikinis has your DD bought?

Don't know if we're going on holiday this year We're going away for a few days just me & hubby then a few weeks after that going up north for the weekend to spend time with family but no proper holidays planned yet. Hubby has got a slight pay rise at work so want to book Florida for next year but am hoping prices will come down a little first.

I see some of the brochures are out for next summer already. Don't know what we are doing next year as DS will be 16 and I don't know what he will be doing.

I would love to go away in July too but as it stands will be out of a job then! Our kids are off for 7 weeks in the summer.....can be really expensive! Luckily the playscheme will be on for 4 wks to keep them amused a couple of hours a day!
DD hasn't bought any bikinis to go with as my niece gave her a load of really nice ones so she is happy
