DHL have just delivered 4 big boxes of sweets for my mum (think it must be from a Forecourt Trader comp). It'll be a nice surprise for her when she gets home from London tonight

Well done on your wins pms :j That book giveaway is like a comp, mse do them regularly and so many win them. I think they decided to put them on freebies to give non-compers a fair chance!

A winning day for the kids too here. I saw a dpd van at neighbours who I knew were at work so was expecting the knock to take in their parcel. When I looked at the parcel...it was addressed to my son from motd but with neighbours door number on box and ours on invoice! It was a grow your own alien! :j
Then postie brought DD1 a prize from girl talk, a bag & purse :j
I feel guilty now for putting DD2's win away yesterday for xmas

Just adding pics to facebook, the bear & book are gorgeous so they are going away for LO's birthday in a few weeks. She's going to one of her friend's birthday parties at end of next month so think the scooby doo prize will go to him - need to check with his Mum if he likes scooby doo lol.

I love the Forecourt Trader comps Wingo. I've only won from them once myself but when I did it was well over 100 boxes of Poppets (the perfect prize for a chocoholic)

I am fine,had a nice afternoon just been playing lots of online games,I went to see my church friends and they are fine.I had a nice letter from my friend sent to the church and it was really nice.

Came back to see a seagull in carpark of flat and rang RSPCA.Cant seem to see it now but its got a broken wing.

Oh no...Quick thinking Katie. (I wonder how many other people would of just walked on by? )

About me,
What a day !!!!! :eek:
Had to rush to the post office to get my post before it closed at 1:30 so, just made it at 1:27 :eek:
Had to change my make up bag, as my other broke!
Whilst Hubby popped in corner shop, I sat in the car putting my make up on....everyone that walked by looked like they've never seen someone put make up on :rotfl:

Went on to Asda and it was absolutely packed.
Kids played up rotten.
I didn't do my normal lists, as I thought I've got everything in my head...(Like I remembered!)
Half the shopping I was supposed to get, I didn't!

It started raining just as I got home.
and to make it worse, to get to my house, you have to unlock 3 double gates.
So you can imagine, it was raining, I didn't have a coat on, then I had to get the car in, locked the gate back up only to get round the corner and see someones parked over my gate, so I couldn't get the car in.
So, had to go and search as to who owned the van parked over my gate.

Now, we all need feeding, so just popped on here to check out messages etc and will go and cook some dinner.
