Sad news about Amy W. I did like her songs and was hoping she would get the help she needed and bring another album out. I remember her dad talking about her having emphysema (not sure on the spelling) such a waste of a young life. x

I've been to town to see if I can get dd's shoes for school. They have to be plain black, no buckles, bows, motifs or anything fancy! Ended up buying her a £3 pair from primark as I couldn't find any!
I bought some dvd's to watch with the kids later. I don't know why but I just dont feel like comping much lately!

Just watched our first 3D Blu Ray on the 3D TV my Daughter won, OMG, how weird was that? Really impressed with it.

I enjoy watching 3D at the pictures BS, would love one of those 3d tv's!

I'd never seen anything 3D, so it was really new to me. Not much about on 3D at the moment though, but I'm sure they will get more easy to come by over time. Trouble is we're both sitting there watching with those dark glasses on, I said to my Husband it was like spending the evening with Roy Orbison.

So Sad about Amy Winehouse .I just wish she had gone and got help when it was offered to her.

I have been in and out of the carnival today.Not around it much today being the first day but once it gets going then I will go back.

I have had a nice day.caught up with my washing etc so its done for another week.

3DTV sounds weird Barnabysue! I saw a 3D movie at the cinema (Toy Story 3) but it wasn't *very* 3D, I think they'd just had to quickly make it 3D to keep up with the developments that had happened since they started making the animation as it takes years? x

Mr M & I have welcomed our very first home grown spud to the table



Don't be fooled by my cunning camera trickery, it's no jacket potato! It's about 3cm long, a little new potato but I'm super proud cos we grew it all by ourselves :T:T

I've spent this morning using my birthday cards to enter some postal comps and have a busy Ebay-ing day ahead to try and make some pennies Hope you all have a nice & relaxing Sunday xxx

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well and had a lucky 2 weeks while I was away! I came back froma lovely holiday to some nice wins and WEMs. Got some parcels to collect too so well pleased. The biggest win seems to be "Me to You" Goodies from the PMU Dailies. It says it is worth £265 not sure exactly what I get but teddies and years worth of cards etc so hoping to keep some for DDs Xmas and use cards etc.
It is nearly as hot here as Spain just now hope it lasts - lol.
