carphone warehouse tv problem

ewasnt sure wether to put this here or on consumer rights section but this seemed appropriate.

got a phone contract with a tv from carphone warehouse in mid january,the tv has now developed a fault,contacted carphone warehouse they said as its outside 28 days its not their problem and i fave to contact toshiba.

only problem is toshiba dont seem to answer the phone...

any advice on what to do would be appreciated.

    In fact it is CW's problem under the SOG act, but I don't see any problem with contacting Toshiba directly.

    It's hard to believe that they don't answer the phone, but if it's really the case you can submit an online inquiry:

    finally got through to toshiba,45 minutes...not too bad...:(...

    arranged to pick tv up on thursday but woman on the phone spent a long time explaining how i should package the tv(i still have the origonal box)..and that if i didnt do this exactly as they request any problems are down to me.

    i did ask if the packaging is so critical and that its my responsability then could the repairmen not package it to ensure it is all correct but apparantly they are not responsible for that,which,leads me to have a nagging feeling any fault with the tv may be blamed on my packaging of it.

    does anyone have any experience with toshiba repairs or indeed carphone warehouse customer experiences with faulty tv's.
