O2 iPhone Insurance is a Joke!

I'm sure your phone didn't smash its self.
Insurance in general is expensive, you can normally get it cheaper from 3rd parties than through your network, but don't expect any sympathy from your network if something goes wrong.
The reason why I was got an brand new iPhone 3GS out of it was because I was told at the start that this is what I would be getting from the customer services adviser when I made the claim. I don't think it is acceptable to receive a replacement phone was is faulty and has lots of scratches on it. Why should I have to pay the price for O2's incompetency??
Yes but surely the reason you pay insurance is to cover you for accidental damage??? If it slips out of your hand and falls on a carpet a couple of inches from the ground then it shouldn't smash but that's what happened to me. Also, even an O2 adviser told me that the iPhone 3G is prone to it's screen smashing.0 -
