    Hi.
I'm sorry that they've put your case on hold. When did you send the letters?

I sent my letter to Barclays 2 weeks ago, and this morning in the post I have received a letter from them upholding my complaint and offering me a full refund of £6000.

It seems really bizarre that they're upholding some complaints and holding others.

Keep on at them, and good luck!

the experience we're finding with Barclays is that is they cannot locate the Statement of Needs and Demands (ie the paperwork in support of the taking out of the PPI) they are paying up, if they can they're placing claims on hold

I just need to know what to do next, any help would be welcomed,

does each case have a JR?? or is the JR, 1 huge big court case

The JR is one big party, and selected cases are invited. Unfortunately the banks get to select the guest list, and don't like to inform us of the selection process
I drum and knit to help Independent Drummers and Knitters to comply with their rhythms and knitting patterns. Although I am qualified to, I don't advise drummers or knitters for reward.

it's one case - a number of banks joined together with the British Banking Association (BBA) and took the Financial Services Authority to Court - it was heard in January 2011 but the judge has yet to give his judgement - but whoever wins it's likely the otherside will appeal - it could go on for years

As for what to do next, you can either wait for the outcome or take your complaint to the FOS - unfortunately they are now innundated and the banks are refusing to co-operate with them - bit of a no win situation at the moment I'm afraid !!
