Don't forget the tesco's clearance section of their webiste at http://direct.tesco.com/content/specials/clearance.aspx.

Looks as though you use the Easter Clubcard Exchange offer on eligible items in this section.

Hi, I bought some clothing on double up vouchers which i had to return as it didnt fit. the cashier put the refund onto a tesco gift card and said i could spend it on anything in the store. i dont know if this is store specific or if it is tesco policy. hope this helps.

    Lucky you!

  • So it's luck of the draw if you get the whole value returned on to a store card rather than just half if using double up vouchers? Wonder what the chances would be if the receipt was "lost"?

With clothes, I've actuallu tried to return clothes I did buy (real money) but lost the receipt for, they wouldn't refund anything without a receipt. This was what I was told about 18 months ago.

Does anyone know if I can still use coupons at the check out when using the double up vouchers? I was going to double up for some pampers vouchers but have loads of pampers coupons so wondered if I could use them all at the same time? x

You would have to make sure that the final price after using the pampers coupons was still the same or higher than the value of your double-up voucher. You can't use the double-up vouchers if the final amount to pay is even 1p less than their value.

So, if you had a £10 pampers double-up voucher, and a £5 pampers coupon, you'd have to get £15 worth of stuff to use both.

  • Hmmm. Not sure what to do. Really want to get a Home Cinema System but am told they are not in the offer. Might be worth picking up an iPod anyway just to get use out of the voucher exchange.
  • Tesco Exchange returns terms & conditions:

Exchange tokens cannot be exchanged back into points or into cash or for another department. Items purchased with an Exchange token can only be exchanged, with a receipt, for goods in the same category to the same value. Any refunds for purchases made using Exchange tokens will be equivalent to the Clubcard voucher value originally exchanged.

Keep the vouchers, wait for next time, they are always changing this offer so the things you want may well be on next time. Last time they had this on I wanted an MP3 player, none were included. They are this time and I had vouchers saved from last time to use for it!

Can anyone help me? I exchanged my vouchers for camping double ups, ordered 2 items via Direct and went in store to collect themthis evening. While there I noticed that the items are actually substantially cheaper instore. My question is, can I return the items instore and repurchase them, still using the double up, or would they just refund me half of the voucher? Does anyone know? I've tried ringing the store but can't get through to anyone. Obviously i will return and rebuy anyway as the saving is substantial, but would prefer to be able to still benefit from the double up!!
