Scottish power - changed billing info

Really narked with Scottish power they have changed their website so that you cannot view a detailed recent bill - you can view a summary but when you try to get a detailed bill showing exactly how much you are paying per unit and per day for the service charge it is now non existant. Even following their help service the step by step guide is out of date - the detailed function does not exist. Surely they are legally obliged to detail this somewhere? I know I am on capped til sept 12, but even in their pdf. this is not shown all capped prices shown in this document are for periods after this time.
The reason I want to check is that my standing charged more than doubled from March when my previous capped deal ended. I am now paying 56p per day for gas and electric (2 meters) - which is a major hike in my bill in amonth.

Can anyone tell me are they legally obliged to state the prices charged directly on the information you access for your own account.(is this a ploy now to keep folk with them - if you cant see what your charged you wont bother changing?) Also this means now you cannot print a VAT invoice. Hope someone can help - first time I have posted on the utilities thread.
MAny thanks

I couldn't view any upto date or previous billing info either on the website saturday or today. So im guessing there is a fault on the website. It has happened before on a few occasions.

Please can the Scottishpower Company Representative comment on this.

Since Saturday I too have been unable to access any detailed bills on the Scottish Power website. I am only able to view a 'Summary Statement.'

    Thanks, Toby

Whoever maintains Scottish Power's IT and internet services needs firing IMHO.
There are ALWAYS errors on the website when trying to access your online account. Once one problem is "fixed" another soon appears. Not good enough for a mainstream utility supplier!

  • Just spoke to cust services & ETA for screen fix is end of week "so try again about then". Particularly frustrating as SP put me on the wrong tariff for latest bill period & I can't check the numbers!

Scottish Power is sh1te - I went £10 over on my Direct Debit monthly amount which I promptly paid and now they want to raise my Direct Debit monthly amount from £25 per month to £41 per month. I'm thinking of going onto quarterly billing ... which I won't pay at all ... fook 'em. :p

Many thanks folks for your feed back - absolutely ridiculous that you cannot access information you require. I am just wanting to check the standing rates as I am positve they have gone up by £10 a month which is daylight robbery - another £120 a year for the priviledge of using their meters - maybe the price of fuel is capped but does this include the service charges?
definately going to look at shopping around.
