My moto is what you dont ask for you dont get !!

You could write to them asking them to remove the late payments as a GOGW the worst they can do is say no.

Waste of time, because they WILL say no.

orange removed my late payments from my credit file recently so some companies will change the data as a GOGW.

If all else fails and their final response of removing the late payments is no, I suppose you could ask that a Notice of Correction (NOC) be added by Experian. A small memo is added to your credit file where you can state that the late payments are totally out of character and were due to illness, that you would like this taken into consideration when your credit file is searched. The only hitch is that it's totally at the discretion of lenders whether they'll take the NOC into consideration.

need to do this anyway, for some reason theres someone on my file at a linked address, where ive never lived, 2 different surnames, same first name and DOB, only on Equifax and Call Credit, Experian is fine, asked Equifax to take it off and they said theyll get back to e in 15 days, its been about 3 and a half weeks I think, so i guess Ill just put up that notice
