In the past couple of years since I've been ordering freebies they have gradually declined in arrival, in that time I've noticed my postie's hair has much improved and his skin is looking lovely, i'm not quite sure about the shade of lipstick he is using but he smiles a lot, especially when he passes my door. :rotfl:0

last year the royal mail had in excess of 14000 claims for lost parcels.. and the demise in service was put down to the use of 'agency staff' who are not vetted like the proper staff are. I had a coat sent recorded delivery go missing!!!! I've had loads of parcels go missing over the last couple of years.. bar the ebay ones which I am always dubious about! Many from good friends whom I would trusy explicitly. I actually sent 3 claim forms in at once back in September for missing parcels!!
My gran had a small packet slit open and some little dolls taken out, they were handmade by children in developing countries and sent in return for a monetary donation to a charity... that is really awful.
I hope your things turn up.. I hate it when things are 'lost'
Phone the delivery/sorting office and complain though it definitely makes a difference!! I phoned and said just because I live in an area with a high number of other nationalities and students does not mean I am in either of those categories and I know the system and its policies and I will take things further if they don't find out why such a high proportion of MY items are going astray.. I've only had 2 since lol. I honestly think it was someone from the local office stealing and because we are in such an area they hope the residents don't realise or don't have the language or experience to phone and complain.. hopefully the service has improved for everyone, not just me!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

My postie was ratted when he came yesterday!!!! Dropped my post all over the floor, blagged a glass of water and spent half an hour chatting to me and breathing alcohol fumes all over me and really creeped me out.. and that is NOT an easy thing to do!!
I'll stick to 'good morning' in future :eek:LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I dont think so, I always send for them all at the same time I send for mine. He's not even on the net. Mine always turn up OK but not his.ukmonkey wrote:Has your boyfriend thought that perhaps he isn't applying for the freebie in time? "While stocks last" and all that, ya know?
I'm sure, in fact I KNOW that most postie's would never risk their modestly paid job for the sake of a freebie that is worth what...a fiver?2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -

But mind walks kind of funny. Strangely enough none of the Tena Lady or the Preparation H samples I ask for ever arrive.nanny_j wrote:Mine too and he looks at least twenty years younger. lol

I think i mght send myself a weighty package labelled "your free PlaySation Portable is enclosed" filled with a packet of stones and string and mud and enclose a letter saying HAHAHA - fooled you, you wont steal my post anymore will you!?!?!.:rotfl: And wait and see if it comes to me
That is a fantastic suggestion. I definitely LOL to that. I might even try it myself. This is the first year i have done so much online shopping for Christmas and everyday that the Postie walks straight past my house I start to panic that something isn't going to turn up.
As to the serious problem. It may be worth sending an email to the royal mail. I have always found that they are very prompt in replying to emails sent from their site.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I am awaiting some Meshcards (free business cards) and this is like the fifth offer of theirs i have used and they always come within 2-3 days - So far ive been waiting 12. Also i won some headphones which i know have been sent and i have been waiting on them for 15 days.
What should i do?

But really what should i do?
I've PM-ed you as well in case you miss this message. I had three lots of cards coming and none turned up (Like yours, mine usually come very quickly).
I emailed them with the order number (which is on the confirmation email they send you) and they emailed back and said they'd send me another lot.
I have a feeling that they've had a computer glitch and our orders never went through...0
