hmmmmm - seems I'm not the only one not amused at BT then?? Funnily enough - I have also had the same problem over the last few months - I always seem to have about £30 extra on my bill for GPRS charging - and have queried it with them. They sent me an itemised bill, (of sorts (ie one that had time and duration of access only on it) but not page visited. one of these was when I was DRIVING from Glasgow to Cambridge, so I queried their bill, and basically just got fobbed off.
I have now emailed Peter Erskine to try and get page visted details, and I'll take it from there.
I have no more money to give - all you companies out there - do your worst - I give in!!
ask for an itemised bill and u'll get a spreadsheet emailed to you with lots of numbers and times on it. there won't be any actual websites listed. look carefully at the spreadsheet and pick out any identical listings or strange times (i.e many times ending in the same minutes and seconds after one another).
i noticed two columns were identical but i had been charged for both. this one mistake was enough for me to base my argument on (that their billing system is flawed) and threw the whole bill into doubt and they let me off with two bills, to the tune of £400.
