I've just looked at your lists and decided I need cake and a sit down before I tackle the kitchen :p.

  • Well were are back and had a fantastic time!! The place was stunning and the weather was gorgeous. Im supporting the lobster look!!

Didnt spend as much as I thought I would which was a bonus but also didnt spend all my time cooking either!

Now im home I need to get back on the savings wagon but I also have school uniforms to buy and a birthday this month. My 2nd eldest son has gone to grans for a couple of weeks so only 3 of us so shouldnt need to buy as much food and im going to be extra frugal and use whats in the freezer.

I went back to work today boo but have tomorrow, wednesday, saturday and sunday off. Ive compiled a meal plan for the next 9 weeks and shall be sticking to it!! If it all goes to plan it means my freezer will be empty so I will be able to give it a clean before filling it up again haha.

House is lovely and tidy (mum was here and shes a clean freak!) but I still have mountains of holiday washing to do but hopefully the weather will carry on being lovely and I will be able to get everything hung outside to dry.

Youngest 2 go away with their dad for 3 days in a week so it will be just me but it falls on my days off so im thinking of !!!!!!ing off for afew days with the dog but dont know where to yet....any ideas? and its gotta be cheap! (or do I stay at home and decorate my bedroom hummmm hard decision!

Anyway I get a lie in tomorrow woop woop but I have to be up at 5.30 on Tuesday morning as I am on an early for a change, but never mind its an extra shift so will come in handy (think of the money)

glad to hear the holiday was fun for all of you. I am incresingly not interested in cooking on holiday, much to my OH's bemusement. he can't seem to see that I want a BREAK too! lol. And well done on not overspending too.
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
