Probably got your number from the DVLA. Pay it no mind. Sit back with a nice glass of wine and chuckle to yourself about all the effort and expense they are going to in reutrn for the absolute zilch you are going to give them
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

Just an update - well, I wandered over to another forum to get futher advice & I have followed the ignore, ignore ignore policy. My charge intially went from 80 to 120. At that point, the company claimed in writing that had I paid within 7 days it would heve been 60 - this was not wtitten on my ticket. Anyway, we move on & now the Debt collector writes - the fee is now £162 & am feeling rather uneasy. The continued advice is to ignore. The I get a text from them - not sure how they got my number mind you - anyway, still adviced to ignore. My worry is that if it does go to court, do I have show I acted reasonably as part of my defence? Just need mind putting at rest!
What you need to do is ask lots of people and then ignore the advice offered.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I agree there is nothing to paybut some people seem to still fret and worry and lose sleep.
That's why for these cases I recommend paying....job done, PPC goes away and the Op sleeps at night.
It's fine for us with suitably sized cojones to say ignore they won't turn up at your door, but !!!!!! we have people who come on here and who even after being told this by thousands of other posters still worry; why should we try to make them tough it out just because we are 'brave'??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Got to say that as much as I hate these companies I agree. You can only tell people so many times to ignore,it doesnt matter how many times you tell people to read the stickies etc etc you just cant get through to some.I dont know how people like Coupon-mad have got the patience.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

Take notice of what the guys in this forum tell you. Do not respond to letters (you may get three or four) and you will receive no more from the private parking company. It worked for me, I am so pleased that I used this forum.0

Quick update on this - I had a final warning letter 1st week of August - and nothing since - not counting chickens as I know they have a long time to go ahead with their court threat - but am hoping this is done with now!0
