Hi all,
In preparation for moving into my first house back on the 3rd October I bought some knives from Denby on my debit card, these have only recently been brought out and started to use them and have noticed that after the first wash they have started to get some rust spots on them!!
What can I do now I don't have the receipts but have the transaction on my bank statement?
Thanks

Quality knives will get rust spots on them if left wet.
Clean and dry them immediately after each use.
Store in a dry place.0 -
Ive just bought some high quality knives and they also say clean and dry straight after use. Acidic foods will cause them to tarnish as well. Also most decent knives are not dishwasher safeSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

Yep.
Pure stainless steel doesn't hold a cutting edge very well all.
The better the "quality" of the knives the less pure the stainless steel is - so they can tarnish or get rust spots.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Two collections of quality knives: the ergonomic and sleek High Carbon Steel range and the comfortable and stylish Easy Grip range. All knives are made from stainless steel for an exceptional cutting edge and durability, and are etched with the Denby name as a sign of enduring quality.
High Carbon Steel not Stainless therefore as others have suggested.0
